There are four great deserts in North America: Great Basin, Sonoran, Mojave, and Chihuahuan. And to those I add the Colorado Plateau even though, technically, it's not considered to be a desert. I live near the extreme-northwest corner of the Great Basin, and I love all the deserts. The links below take you to pages of photos I've taken while visiting these places. |
